When it comes to art, the city of Draguignan really gets it going. The city hosts every year two of the most wonderful artistic events in France. One of these events is a famous art gallery/festival which presents pieces from break-through contemporary artists.

Draguignan Contemporary Summer
Info: The AGO Association presents its 17th edition of Draguignan Contemporary Summer, which takes place from the end of July to the end of September, and is all about the contemporary art.

Short Films Festival
Info: The festival is open to young filmmakers between the ages of 15 and 30, and consists of screenings of the 10 minute films entered in the contest. The festival takes place each year at the end of October. The contestants are required to sign up their films before the 29th of September.
