There are many things to see in Draguignan, which not only hold a historical significance, but are also important for their architectural heritage. Two such examples are the Municipal Theater and the Prefecture Building.

Municipal Theater
Info: The Municipal Theater is an impressive piece of architecture on one of the main roads that leads into the town center. Owned and run by the local authority, the theater is committed to providing top quality entertainment for the people of the town and visitors throughout the year. There is an eclectic program of events on offer and something that will entertain almost all ages and tastes. There are sometimes musical events held in the theater.

Prefecture Building
Info: The prefecture building is one of the most important administration buildings in this region and this can be seen from the grandeur of the architectural style. It looms high above most of the other civil and private buildings in the center of the town and is open in parts to the public most of the time for browsing through the good sized collections of local history, paintings and classical pieces of furniture.
