Attractions
There are many things to see in Draguignan, which not only hold a historical significance, but are also important for their architectural heritage. Two such examples are the Municipal Theater and the Prefecture Building.

Restaurnats & Nightlife
Draguignan offers a select choice of dining out, so you needn’t worry about the place you choose. There are a few restaurants you should avoid, not for the price or food, but more for the service. So here are a few selections that might brighten your night out.
History & Civilization
With the Iron Age, around 700 BC, fortified villages built from dry stone settled on the heights of the future city. In the city itself, a cabin, some bones and pottery were found, dating from the 5th century BC. This suggests perhaps that the plain was inhabited but nothing is certain.
Relics of the past
The city of Draguignan has ancient roots within history, not only for being a Roman settlement, but also for many mythological stories. One such story involves the Chateau du Dragon and Saint Hermentaire, which supposedly killed a dragon near the castle’s premises.
